ProDouro – Association of Professional Douro Winegrowers Website collects two types of information: personal information and anonymous information. The anonymous information occurs while the user visits the Website and is intended to improve its operation, including content management and prioritization. Personal information is provided voluntarily by the user upon optional registration. All data collected is processed automatically and the information sent by users is encrypted and managed with advanced security.1 The registration serves for the user to access newsletter subscription services, association membership, colloquium/event registration, contact via corporate e-mails, namely geral@prodouro.com and other features made available by ProDouro to its community.
Data collected is for the purposes of: identifying ProDouro members/user; managing permissions for the purpose of sending e-mail communications; providing services, managing records; managing topics and sections; managing the process of becoming a ProDouro Member, managing the process of registering for ProDouro meetings and events.

Violation, or attempted violation, of databases obtained through the Website will result in prosecution of the offender(s).

4) Updates/Maintenance of personal information

By using the Website, the user undertakes to provide and keep his personal data up-to-date and true.
Updating user/reader information may be done through links available in the email newsletters where the user may change or add information.
